The poster for the Montana Brewers Brewfest highlights the fun and playful aesthetic of beer while also incorporating the messy ramifications of drinking. The heading and subheading fonts used for the poster were layed on top of a repeating type of all the craft beers offered at the festival that were manipulated by spilling beer and putting cigarettes out of a piece of paper that was scanned and imported as a low opacity layer. To stand out from traditional posters the gird used for the poster was a modular grid that has been skewed to direct the viewers eye and create visual interest.
